Students ‘not migration risk’

FOREIGN students have no big impact on immigration, the Prime Minister has admitted.

Theresa May, who previously refused to exclude them from figures, said 900 colleges had stopped bringing in people “all too often” just looking for work.

Genuine students who left after their courses “don’t have a long-term impact,” she said.
