Keith plays to pay with gigs of hope

HOLS Keith Hubbard PROFESSIONAL musician Keith Hubbard marks 14 years from his prostate cancer diagnosis next Monday.

Now Keith and wife Angela are preparing for a holiday in Madeira – and will stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 30 years ago.

Keith, 70, of Southport, Merseyside, said: “I do gigs for Cancer Research UK because I’m certain my treatment wouldn’t have been possible without them and the research they fund.

“To anyone having treatment I’d say, ‘Keep positive’. I don’t let little things get on top of me as much any more, they don’t matter.

“My family and music are what’s important.”
