2 die, 116 hurt in train crash

A TRAIN collision killed two crew and injured 116 people yesterday.

An Amtrak passenger service apparently running on the wrong track hit a parked freight train in South Carolina, US.

State governor Henry McMaster said: “It’s a horrible thing to see.”

The smash was the third fatal crash for Amtrak in as many months.
