Lallana’s red rage
ADAM LALLANA was sent off on his return from injury for Liverpool’s Under-23s.
The England star missed the first four months of the season through injury and boss Jurgen Klopp was reluctant to play him against Spurs on Sunday.
The midfielder, 29, was instead named for the game between the two clubs’ under-23 sides.
He was sent off just after the hour mark following a late challenge from George Marsh, who climbed above Lallana to win an aerial ball.
But Lallana reacted by grabbing his opponent round the throat and the back of the head. Liverpool also had George Johnston dismissed in the 1-0 defeat.
