Freak injury bride’s trek

A BRIDE whose Achilles tendon was sliced open on her wedding day will be doing a trek for charity.

Kaileigh Moreton, 29, spent her honeymoon in hospital after a wheelchair’s foot rest cut her ankle “like an apple corer”.

Nine months after her ruined big day in Cyprus one calf is two inches shorter than the other.

Kaileigh, of Colchester, Essex, plans to hike on Hadrians Wall for Mind.
