Kelly: I regret clamp bust

SINN Fein’s Gerry Kelly says he regrets removing a clamp from his car.

The North Belfast Member of the Legislative Assembly was reported for criminal damage after he was filmed cutting off the clamp with bolt-cutters outside a Belfast gym.

He said he had to get to talks at Stormont and had been unable to contact the clamping company. He added: “I’ve paid the fine. The issue’s been resolved.”
