Snow brings more misery
SNOW fell across parts of the UK yesterday bringing treacherous conditions for travellers.
Falls in Kent and Essex caused several road accidents and BA cancelled 80 short-haul flights at Heathrow.
More snow was expected to move south from Scotland last night with most of the country hit by the afternoon.
The Met Office said today would be “very cold” with “lots of snow”.
Experts believe it will be one of the coldest weeks of the winter so far.
In Moscow, the army was called in to help clear what the mayor called “the snowfall of the century” – 2ft in just 36 hours.
