Hill ready to start

-

BARTERS HILL will make his long-awaited comeback at Newbury on Saturday.

Ben Pauling’s eightyear-old, who has been out since suffering an injury on his chasing debut at Cheltenham in 2016, is set to line up in the Betfair Cash Out Handicap Hurdle over three miles.

“It’s very much the plan to go to Newbury,” said Pauling.

“It will be great to have him back out.”

Barters Hill was a classy staying novice hurdler in the 2015-16 season, winning his first three starts before finishing fourth in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival.
