Equality still has a long way to go
I enjoyed your feature on the 100th anniversary of women over 30 gaining the right to vote and the sacrifices made by the suffragettes (Mirror, Feb 6). We should all be grateful for the likes of Emmeline, Christabel and Sylvia Pankhurst.
But today there is still a lot of work to be done before women gain full equality with men. Some firms should be ashamed that they are still paying women less than men for doing the equivalent work. Thomas Jones, via email
