M&S IS OUT OF FASHION

-

# I have shopped at Marks & Spencer for decades and never before have I seen such frumpy styles being displayed – so it’s no surprise they are being forced to close stores.

They bring in designers who have no idea what the clientele want to wear. Young people don’t shop at M&S which has always been a smart shop for the older lady. Perhaps they should ask a panel of women of various ages what we want to wear. They obviously don’t know anymore.

# Virgin and Stagecoach pulling out of their contract to run the East Coast mainline is a typical example of privatisation not working when it comes to public services.

While it was under Government control between 2009 and 2014, the service made a hefty profit, but now Stagecoach have posted losses of £200million by promising what they can’t deliver.

Seems like a good case for re-nationalisation.

# While it’s great to see women’s rugby in such robust form in 2018, we shouldn’t just be showing highlights of the women’s game on TV and not at gone 11pm on a Sunday. I realise it may be difficult to schedule, but we have a choice when the Olympics is on, so why not with the Six Nations too?
