Save NHS from Hunt
HAPLESS Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt’s failure to reassure and sincerely thank NHS miracle workers is another blow to the Grim Reaper’s reputation.
Talk of him being the next Prime Minister would be a joke if the Conservatives weren’t desperate and capable of picking anybody to succeed hopeless Theresa May.
Like her, he sounds like a bystander, despite the fact the underspending sickness infecting the NHS leads to his door.
Starving the precious public service of money while wasting cash on privatisation and management bureaucracy is a perfect storm – and the victims are patients and staff.
Labour ended winter crises and they have now returned with a vengeance under the Conservatives, simply because that party doesn’t love or care for the NHS.
Fixing the NHS isn’t difficult or necessarily expensive in the great scheme of things but it does require cash, commitment and TLC.
We must fight harder than ever to save and revive what we hold dear.
