Partners lose out over pets
MORE than a third of pet owners would end a relationship if their partner did not like their pet, a survey suggests.
Insurance firm Bought by Many, found almost half of singletons with animals think they understand them better than a partner.
And 14% even buy Valentine’s Day gifts for their pet, with fish owners (20%) the most generous.
Steven Mendel, of the company, said “only the best will do” for our pets.
