Morrisons to cull 5p bags

MORRISONS is joining other major supermarkets by axing single-use 5p bags to reduce plastic waste.

Shoppers must buy 10p reuseable ones instead. The store said: “Customers responded positively.”

Plastic bag use has been cut by 80% since the 5p levy became law in 2015.
