‘BBC pay-cut men to stay’
TOP-earning BBC male presenters will not leave over pay cuts, broadcaster Jane Garvey says.
The Woman’s Hour host and equal pay campaigner suggested stars such as Huw Edwards and John Humphrys did not want to lose their huge audiences.
She said she would be “amazed” if any top talent jumped ship for Sky.
“They could give you all the money in the world, but you wouldn’t have an audience,” she said.
