Knife killer’s RIP tribute to teen victim
A SICK killer who posted RIP to his 16-year-old victim on Facebook after stabbing her 28 times faces a life prison term.
Angry scenes erupted in Sheffield crown court yesterday when Shea Heeley finally admitted murdering Leonne Weeks.
Leonne’s uncle, John, screamed from the public gallery: “Wait until the day you come out. I will do the same to you.”
Heeley, 19, was told by Judge Paul Watson, QC, the only suitable sentence was life imprisonment.
Leonne was killed on a path near her home in Dinnington, South Yorks, on January 16 last year.
She’d left home the night before with a pal to meet Heeley, who lived 100 metres from her. He will be sentenced on March 5.
