‘Lies’ to block needy pupils

SCHOOLS lie they are full to parents of special needs pupils to keep their league rankings, a report said.

They were also refusing children of asylum seekers, Chief Schools Adjudicator Shan Scott claimed.

This was most common if the pupil had extra needs or poor English, she said.
