Red-hot Wilson vows to terrorise the Terriers again

- BY ALEX CROOK

STRIKE star Callum Wilson says he will be kicking himself if he does not score again tomorrow against Huddersfield.

In-form Wilson has bagged five goals in three meetings with the Terriers.

He said: “I seem to like playing against Huddersfield so it will be good to go back there and put some chances into the back of the net.

“On my debut I played against them and scored two goals so you know you have done it before against them and get a little bit of confidence from that.

“This season I have scored a hat-trick against them so I will go there wanting to score and improve because if you don’t it will be like you have failed on the day.

“Anyone who scores a hattrick will get a confidence boost and I managed to do that and have carried that form on and tried to improve all the time.”

Huddersfield have slipped into the bottom three after winning only one of their last nine matches and Wilson has warned his team-mates to show David Wagner’s men no mercy.

Wilson, whose Cherries team are unbeaten in seven games, said: “Huddersfield started the season on fire but it shows you need to be consistent in this league, keep grinding out results and they have not managed to do that of late.

“We are not going to go there and give them a leg up and let them turn their season around against us.

“We have to make sure we are professional.”
