Poster girl in plea for clothes aid

-

ALYSSA Davies has become the face of a campaign to encourage people to donate their clothes to charity.

Alyssa, 11, of Preston, is appearing in posters across all the UK in TK Maxx and CRUK stores as part of the Give Up Clothes For Good campaign in aid of the Kids & Teens campaign.

In March 2014 Alyssa was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia after feeling unwell and tired.

After chemotherapy and months at a Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit, Alyssa is now doing well. She said: “I hope by the time I grow up, things will be different for children with cancer. And that they won’t have treatment that tastes so yucky.”
