Dubbed “the next Love Island”, this battle of the sexes show pits a gaggle of tanned and toned singletons against each other to see which gender comes out on top.
Hosted by Laura Whitmore, it’s a concept that sounds a bit dated in these times of gender equality rows. Nonetheless, the goal is a big cash prize and everyone seems excited.
We met the line-up last night, with contestants including Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani, 21, and Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo’s ex-boyfriend James Middleton, 24.
And there was a lot of preening – this really is survival of the person who looks best in gold lame swimwear.
They are in the South African Savanna, taking on physical and mental challenges. But with searing hot weather and a series of romantic dates to test everyone’s loyalties, the real show will be bed-hopping and in-fighting.
Will the boys choose mates over dates? Will the girls puts sisters before misters? We’ll see.
