Dad’s terror as he sees son having stroke at just 19mths
A DAD whose son became one of Britain’s youngest stroke victims diagnosed the attack from a TV ad.
Phil Kerman, 39, was terrified when he found 19-month-old Ronnie “unresponsive” and “floppy” in his cot.
The tot, who has a twin brother, Robert, was found to have two cysts and a non-cancerous tumour on his brain in hospital.
Phil, from Hull, said: “I was shocked to see him in his cot crying in pain. I lifted one arm up and then his leg and they both had gone floppy.” He remembered the telly advert and wife Louise, 39, called an ambulance. Ronnie is having the cysts drained regularly as he awaits an operation and chemotherapy. His eyes light up when twin Robert visits and gives him a kiss. Phil added: “We’re hoping that brotherly love will help him recover quicker.”
