AIMEE FULLER admitted she feared for her safety as her Olympic ambitions were blown away by wild weather in PyeongChan­g.

ST ANDREWS has been confirmed as the host of the 150th Open Championsh­ip in 2021.

As expected, the Old Course will stage the game’s oldest major championsh­ip for the 30th time from July 15-18.

R&A chief executive Martin Slumbers said: “The Championsh­ip enjoys an historic, celebrated relationsh­ip with the Old Course in St Andrews and we are excited to be marking the 150th Championsh­ip at the home of golf in 2021.”

The Open was last played at St Andrews in 2015, when Zach Johnson won a fourhole play-off.
