Ryan aiming to Burn it up

RYAN BURNETT will defend his WBA super bantamweight crown on March 31.

He faces mandatory WBA challenger Yonfrez Parejo, 31, at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium after being forced to relinquish his IBF title.

The unbeaten Belfast fighter, who is 18-0, unified the two belts against Zhanat Zhakiyanov in October and has given up the IBF strap because he cannot fulfil their mandatory.

Burnett, 25, who is on the undercard for Anthony Joshua’s world heavyweight title unification clash, said: “To defend my title in front of 80,000 will be incredible.”
