Online tool to hunt down IS hate videos
SPOOKS have developed a hi-tech tool to flag up jihadi propaganda before it can be viewed online.
Tests suggest it can identify 94% of Islamic State hate videos.
The tool will be available to online content sites so material can be blocked.
Home Secretary Amber Rudd said: “Technology like this can heavily disrupt the terrorists’ actions, as well as prevent people from being exposed to these horrific images.”
The Home Office helped develop the tool which can become part of the upload process so content is halted before going live.
