PPI firm claimed to get your cash
Five bosses of a PPI claims firm I’ve exposed have been banned from being directors for a total of 28 years.
McCaskill & Morse Limited charged £479 upfront, promising full refunds if claims were unsuccessful.
But, as I told in 2015, victims cold-called by the Swansea company didn’t get compensation or their money back, despite the promises of a “no win, no fee” claim and “excellent customer service”.
Robert Clarke, investigations group leader at the Insolvency Service, said: “It’s ironic that a company established to support consumers claw back money owed to them, consistently failed to return what was rightfully owed to its clients.”
The banned directors are Timothy Chapple, eight years; Richard Adams, six; Catherine Wood and Gary Richards for five; and James Bell, four. BAN Six years for Richard Adams
