PAUL Gascoigne will charge fans £27.50 to watch a World Cup game with him in a Blackpool pub. The football legend, 50, will also offer a Q&A session and post-match analysis of England’s clash with Belgium. And if his appearance at the Las Vegas-themed

Viva Blackpool venue is a success he may go on to cover more matches there.

Gazza’s dad John, 72, died from cancer last week but the troubled star, who has struggled with alcohol addiction, was afterwards said to be in a “strong place”.

And he said: “I can’t wait to come back to see my friends in Blackpool and watch the big game with all the fans.”

With a £67.50 “meet and greet” VIP package, supporters also get a photo with Gazza, buffet and reserved seat for the televised June 28 clash, which will be shown on large screens at the venue.

The former midfielder, whose clubs included Newcastle, Spurs and Rangers, starred in England’s Italia 90 campaign with Gary Lineker, who will be in Russia fronting the BBC’s World Cup coverage.

Viva boss Paul Stevens said: “I love big names coming but as a Spurs fan I can’t wait. A World Cup with Gazza! It doesn’t get much better – it’s coming home.”
