Van reverses over woman and kills her
A DELIVERY man crushed a pedestrian to death after reversing his Mercedes van without checking his mirrors, a court heard.
Sebastian Majewski, 36, hit Launa Genus but continued to reverse with her under the wheels.
It was only when a witness frantically banged on the window Majewski stopped and got out.
Ms Genus, 58, died nine days later of chest injuries.
Five horrified members of the victim’s family wept at the Old Bailey as CCTV footage was shown.
One shouted “oh for f***’s sake” and ran out.
Majewski, of Hayes, West London, has admitted death by careless driving in Streatham, South West London, in 2016. The sentencing hearing continues.
