Peugeot has used eye tracking technology to come up with a scary statistic that the average driver spends 7% of journeys not looking at the road. That equates to two miles over a one-hour trip at 30mph. Peugeot commissioned the survey to highlight its i-Cockpit small steering wheel and raised instrument panel which it claims cuts down on eye movement. Shame about its very distracting infotainment systems.
