Man killed in airport crash

A BRITISH Airways engineer has died after two airport vehicles crashed on the airfield at Heathrow.

The man in his 40s went into cardiac arrest on the taxiway near Terminal 5 and died later in hospital.

A second man was treated for a non-lifethreatening injury. An investigation is under way.

BA said: “We are deeply saddened and are offering our full care and support to his family and colleagues.”

Heathrow will be “fully cooperating” with police.
