ANSWER TO DOGS RISK

At last a deserved 10-year jail sentence for the owner of a dangerous dog that mauled a man to death (Mirror, Feb 14).

I have long been trying to argue the case for large dogs to be muzzled. My MP informed me about five years ago they were looking into the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Hardly a week goes by without a report about children scarred for life or people injured and killed by dogs. The only answer is a muzzle. J R Dew Wolverhampton
