Lovelorn Scottish misfits collect together the three EPs they released over the past several months and combine them onto a 15-track album. That may explain the disjointed and misshapen nature of the whole, although the diversity will be warmly welcomed by long-term followers.

Frontman Stuart Murdoch is in spry pop form on I’ll Be Your Pilot, while The Same Star has Sarah Martin in the lead like a brass-bolstered Stevie Nicks. Oddball dance trifles such as Cornflakes and Sweet Dew Lee get equal billing too.
