Max Branning actor Jake Wood doesn’t take his EastEnders rehearsals seriously – to the annoyance of directors. He said: “If I’m rehearsing I’ll just mark it through, I’m happy as long as I know my lines. They’re like, ‘You’re not going to do it like that are you?’. I’m like, ‘Just do a f***ing take, then you can give me notes’. Then when it’s action time, you turn it on.”
