ENGLAND WELCOME BACK BEN

BEN STOKES is set to train with the England squad tomorrow, as he is brought back into the fold.

Coach Trevor Bayliss will check on the all-rounder’s fitness after nearly two days on a plane, and a two-hour car journey from Auckland airport to the team hotel in Hamilton. Stokes (left) will not be a part of the team that plays in the final Trans-Tasman Tri-series match against New Zealand on Sunday. And he is doubtful for the first ODI against New Zealand on February 25, although he is anxious to get back on the international stage.

His last competitive action was for Canterbury on December 22, but he has been keeping himself ticking over in the nets in Durham.
