‘EVEN POGBA ADMITS HIS FORM IS BAD’
Huddersfield v Manchester United FA Cup 5th round, John Smith’s Stadium, 5.30pm
JOSE MOURINHO says he and Paul Pogba agree he is not playing well for Manchester United.
Mourinho hooked Pogba in United’s defeat to Newcastle last Sunday and admits his £89.3million midfielder is struggling for form. “We all know in the
last couple of matches he didn’t play well,” said the United boss.
“Period. End of story. Now it’s my problem and Paul’s to improve his performance level. He accepts he has not been playing well.”
Mourinho is livid at reports claiming Pogba is unsettled at United and regrets joining from Juventus in 2016.
He rejected the claims as “lies,” fuming: “The majority of things you can read and listen to, don’t be polite about them, be objective and say they are lies.”
