SKIP workers are hoping to share £7,000 found in a bin bag at their yard after the disintegrating £20 notes went unclaimed.

Mark Hanson of Quicker Skips in Burnley, Lancs, sent the serial numbers to the Bank of England.

He said: “Anything they can give us is a bonus.”
