Katie on Celebrity Haunted Mansion
FORMER glamour model Katie Price is a bit of an expert on things that go bump in the night.
And now she’s ready to put up a brave front in Celebrity Haunted Mansion this week.
She’ll be spending five nights in the terrifying gothic mansion alongside Coronation Street star Simon Gregson, Towie’s Lydia Bright, boxer Anthony Ogogo, actress Jorgie Porter, Blue’s Simon Webbe, Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli and The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman.
Let’s hope they don’t scare easily – a week cooped up in a house with Katie could be quite terrifying.
The Loose Women star is looking forward to a few spirited nights.
Katie, 39, tells us: “I like to try Ouija boards, I do things with candles, I chant spirits, I do every- thing I can! All I wanna do is hear something and be convinced.”
And she reckons facing their fears together could stop the housemates falling out.
She says: “I don’t hate anybody. Whether I like or hate anybody, if they’re entering the house with me, put it all aside – we’re in a dark house.
“But who knows, when you’re behind that door, I might just knock you round the head and pretend I’m a spirit!”
Corrie’s Simon isn’t worried. He jokes: “I’ve watched Bill Murray in Ghostbusters many times, so I’m gonna channel Bill Murray.” And Jorgie Porter adds: “I’ve just got the sheer stupidness of no fear. “The only thing I can bring to the team is no fear.” Celebrity Haunted Mansion will air for five nights from Wednesday on W at 9pm, hosted by Christine Lampard. The celebs will be split into two teams, led by Jack Osbourne and paranormal expert Jason Hawes. They’ll take part in live ghost hunts and attempt to uncover the secrets of the mansion while hoping to survive the public vote each night to end the series as champion celebrity ghost hunter.
