HUDDERSFIELD may be out of the FA Cup – but it could still give them the platform for Premier League survival. That is the view of Town goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, who believes the fighting spirit shown in taking Manchester United so close is the sort of quality that will help them avoid the drop. The Terriers are 17th and favourites for relegation, but Denmark international Lossl (above) is confident he and his team-mates can defy the doom-mongers. “This is the cup and it is about winning and going through, so it was not a success,” he said. “But we played a very, very good game and have to be proud of that. “We have to bring that on and I’m sure if we’re going to play like this in the last 11 games we stand a good chance. “We need to bring this game forwards. I think we have looked very strong the last three games, so I am very comfortable and happy with that. “We need to use what we can from this game and we played a very good game. “Most importantly, I am really happy with the character we have shown. “I think we have done that many times now, but that was a very, very good sign.”
