Joker Boris’s monkey jape

BORIS Johnson made a rude joke about his House of Commons colleagues on a visit to the Met Police’s Wildlife Crime Unit.

Shown the head of a macaque monkey, the Foreign Secretary quipped: “What’s this poor chap here? Faint air of a... Labour backbencher.”

He blasted the “criminal lowlifes” trading in wildlife products after seeing items recovered in raids.
