2m dads miss birth of baby

MORE than two million dads have missed the birth of one of their children, a study found.

And fathers are three times more likely than mums to not see a tot’s first words or steps.

A third of parents feel guilty about such things, said the Direct Line survey.

Psychologist Donna Dawson said dealing with it can be “difficult”.
