DOCUMENTARY
C4, 10pm Harvey Weinstein’s fall from grace has been one of the most spectacular and horrifying cases of recent times.
Since the allegations of sexual abuse and harassment emerged against him last October, the movie mogul has been expelled from BAFTA and the Academy of Motion Pictures, and he is now under criminal investigation in both Britain and the US.
Actresses Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan were among the first to accuse the Hollywood producer of sexual abuse.
Then once they had spoken out, more women came forward to reveal that they too had been harassed or abused by Weinstein – accusations that he denies.
The shocking revelations even sparked the online movement #MeToo, crusading against sexual harassment and assault.
As the allegations continue to be investigated, this documentary meets people who worked with him across 30 years, and investigates how he kept his accusers quiet for decades.
