MALCOM SPURRED ON TO GO

GUS POYET admits he will lose Tottenham target Malcom “sooner or later”.

The Bordeaux boss, a former Spurs player, managed to keep hold of the exciting winger last month.

The Londoners wanted a deal that would see the Brazilian (left) stay at his club before moving in the summer.

They are set to revive their interest when the window reopens – with Malcom keen to move. Poyet said: “He is a special player. In January we were nervous because we almost lost him to the Premier League. We must prepare for this because sooner or later he will leave.”
