I HOPE DREAM WON’T HEND

ROCHDALE hero Ian Henderson insists the FA Cup has not lost any of its magic dust. Henderson scored in Rochdale’s fairytale fifthround draw with Tottenham on Sunday, which earned League One’s bottom club a money-spinning trip to Wembley for the replay.

Henderson (celebrating, right) said: “The FA Cup is as special as ever – we have just taken Spurs to a replay in the fifth round. It’s magical.

“I think we showed the beauty and the magic of the FA Cup – it gives you a chance to dream. Now It would be nice to write our own history at Wembley because that really would be a dream.

“It’s actually my dream come true to play at Wembley. As a little kid, playing with my mates, I dreamed of scoring at Wembley so I’m absolutely buzzing.”
