Wed Sheeran?
ED Sheeran has sparked speculation he has secretly married after performing wearing what appeared to be a wedding ring.
The singer, 27, announced his Christmas engagement to Cherry Seaborn last month and last week celebrated his birthday, telling of “an amazing time”.
On Monday he performed in London at a War Child gig wearing a band on his ring finger.
He joked on stage: “I find myself getting really excited about kitchen appliances now.”
Ed and Cherry, 25, met at school in his home town of Framlingham, Suffolk, and he admitted he had a crush on her then. They eventually got together in 2015 at a Fourth of July party at Taylor Swift’s house.
Ed explained taking a year off from music gave him the time to develop his relationship.
He said: “This has been the first time I’ve ever actually had the time to fall in love properly.”
After a bike accident last year Ed revealed Cherry nursed him back to health. The star said he and Cherry want to start a family as soon as possible: “I’m ready, let’s go – tour bus babies, little fat, chubby babies that just walk around.”
Ed will be performing at tonight’s Brit awards, where he is nominated in four categories.
