MOPED crime gangs must be driven off the road by police empowered to do whatever it takes to catch these raiders.

These marauders, who terrorise their victims and then endanger the innocent during their getaways, must feel the full force of the law.

Police officers pursuing them should not be disciplined or threatened with prosecution for simply doing their jobs.

If a fleeing rider takes off a helmet and is injured in a crash, it’s their fault. The police must not be forced to abandon the chase. And if a pursued maniac hits somebody, charge the reckless rider not police. Enough is enough.
