Serial scammer jailed

A FELON has been jailed for swindling thousands of pounds from a mum he met while on prison day release for similar crimes.

Daniel Olley, 41, fleeced Daniella Evans of £12,000 after chatting her up as she worked for a charity helping convicts back into work.

Olley, who was in a Kent jail for scamming another woman, tricked Miss Evans into handing over cash for a van and rent payments.

Miss Evans blasted prison and probation services for “handing him victims on a plate”. Former mechanic Olley, from Ipswich, was jailed for five years yesterday at Snaresbrook crown court, London.
