DAM SLOW

-

Eurostar’s new much-hyped direct service to Amsterdam got off to a slow start yesterday – with ticket sales delayed. Red-faced bosses blamed “technical issues” with a supplier for putting back the start date for reservations by two days until tomorrow. The new service promises journey times of three hours 41 minutes from London St Pancras to the Dutch capital, with prices from £35 each way. However, passengers will have to change trains in Brussels on the way back for now.
