WARNOCK: BLANKS FOR THE MEMORY

NEIL WARNOCK is banking on a 15th clean sheet of the season at Ipswich to keep his Cardiff City side in the hunt for automatic promotion.

The Bluebirds are flying high with a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough on Saturday maintaining their unbeaten run in 2018. “From the start of the season we said that 16 clean sheets should be good enough to get into the play-offs,” said Warnock (above).

“We have got 14 so far with 14 games to go. I think this is the best defence I’ve had in my managerial career – but I’m 69 now, so I can’t remember half of them!”
