WATCH CLOUT, ALEXIS
SEVILLA boss Vincenzo Montella has admitted his side could target Alexis Sanchez tonight. Italian coach Montella (right) has seen Sanchez flourish at Udinese, Barcelona, Arsenal and now United. And he joked that Sevilla may have to resort to crude tactics to reduce his influence. “Maybe we could kill him or knock him down or something!” he quipped. “I remember Sanchez really well from his time in Italy. He has improved his style a lot and he’s a really good player in terms of the transitions and finding spaces – and has a really good speed in attack.” Sanchez won all five games he played at Sevilla when he was a Barcelona player. And left-back Sergio Escudero said: “We have a lot of respect for United and, in Sanchez, they have a really good quality player. “He’s really intelligent and he could be a big danger to us. “We might be the underdogs but we can use this as extra motivation. We will be ready and focused.” WEST HAM are braced for a £25,000 fine from the FA after being charged over a breach of anti-doping regulations.
An FA statement said: ”It is alleged the club failed to ensure its ‘club whereabouts’ information was accurate on three occasions within 12 months.”
A spokesman for the Hammers said: “We would like to make it clear that the breach is a club administrative matter and does not concern any of our players.
“The breach relates to administrative oversights on the FA’s whereabouts system.
“For example, a player’s address had been registered and the house number digits transposed.
“The club will be responding to the FA in due course.”
