RECKLESS ON A BIKE

After reading that Jeremy Vine wants road layout changes to stop “angry dangerous drivers” injuring cyclists (Mirror, Feb 20), I would ask him, what about protecting pedestrians from cyclists?

I work in the City and I persistently see cyclists swerving round corners near pedestrians without putting an arm out to indicate they are turning.

Even worse, I’ve seen them riding in between pedestrians crossing the road when the green man is displayed. As for cycling on pavements, do not get me started! D Richens South East London I have really enjoyed the Winter Olympics on the BBC and it is a real pleasure not to have it interrupted by adverts. But why do we have to swap channels so often?
