In a wee spot of trouble...

A MAN who called police after finding a bank open but deserted was arrested... as a suspected burglar.

Kelly Jones, who had walked in to ask to use the loo, thought there had been a break-in. But when police arrived he was held for four hours until CCTV proved him innocent.

The decorator, 50, from London, lost a day’s work and fears he could be fired.

Mr Jones said: “This could ruin my life.”

Kent Police confirmed the incident in Folkestone.
