Bristol set for Kelso
BRISTOL DE MAI will bid to get his campaign back on track in the Premier Chase at Kelso a week tomorrow.
The grey won the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby and Haydock’s Betfair Chase on his first two outings, but has since flopped in the King George VI Chase at Kempton and the Cotswold Chase on Cheltenham’s Trials card in January.
Twiston-Davies, whose seven-year-old has Aintree’s Betway Bowl as his end-of-season aim, said yesterday: “The idea is to have a run round at Kelso and get his confidence back.”
